Foster + Partners sponsors the ‘Ediston Cycle to Cannes’ Foster + Partners is pleased to sponsor David Rosenberg to take part in the ‘Ediston Cycle to Cannes’ from March 9–13. David has worked at Foster + Partners for ten years and will join fifty other cyclists on the 1400km journey, raising money for charity and highlighting issues of sustainability and climate change as they impact on those involved with design, construction and the management of the built environment. All those on the ride are involved in development, architecture and planning, and the ride ends at MIPIM, the annual international property conference. Foster + Partners is happy to have become an 'alloy' sponsor of the event.
The ride is raising money for four charities:
• Article 25 (Article 25 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights is the article referring to the built environment. It states that adequate shelter and housing are a fundamental human right.)
• Sarah Matheson (Multiple System Atrophy) • Land Aid (UK homelessness) • Thomas ap Rhys Pryce (disadvantaged children)
Lord Foster is a trustee of Article 25 , which was set up by Maxwell Hutchinson after he was caught in Sri Lanka during the tsunami two years ago.
